I will bring this experience to your location. I create enjoyment and interaction, not a boring one-way lecture with stuff you don’t care about. We start with an aperitif and there is plenty of time to connect.

There is neither a minimum, nor a maximum number of people.

It is recommendable to count 2-4 hours to enjoy your experience in a relaxed way with enough time to digest and enjoy.

Consider yourself going on a date: what would you wear? I recommend not using any perfume or hand cream: you can only have one date at a time.  

I will bring glasses, plates and cutlery when needed. I prefer a clean kitchen with sufficient space to prepare your bites. 

I serve carefully picked high quality wines, standing out for craftmanship and taste, respecting the planet and the people.

I will be covering the main grape varieties while serving sparkling, white, red and dessert wine. I will get into their characteristics and how to match these with food.  

I pick the best supplier for each single bite. They will be small to explain the pairing, however you won’t feel hungry. Larger portions are optional. 

The French perfectly refer to food and wine pairing as ‘le marriage’. To explain you the principles I will be serving matching bites with each wine.

The experience is about tasting, but if you like taking off, be my guest. Show up well hydrated and drink plenty of water during the event. Spit the wine out like a pro, and you will even taste more!

Yes, you will. I will shortly talk about glasses, temperature, storage and wine serving. And how to deal with a sommelier in a restaurant, to make your day shine. 

I speak Dutch, English, French and German.

Yes, you can. Maybe you want to focus on a certain region or upgrade the experience with oysters from Mars. I will be your host, so whatever it is, just ask.

A sommelier is a trained and knowledgeable wine professional, working in restaurants, who specialises in all aspects of wine service as well as wine and food pairing.

Get in touch to talk things over and fix a date. Prices are per person and including VAT. Parking and travel costs outside of Amsterdam are excluded. There is a 50% down payment at booking and the other 50% one week before the event. Cancellations only as from one week in advance to guarantee refund.
